Calvary Baptist is a local church that seeks to honour the Lord in all that we do. The Bible admonishes the saved in Galatians 1:10 to seek to please the Lord and not man: "For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ." We are a modern church with a traditional flair in our worship. We seek to be balanced in our approach to Scripture and practical in its application to our culture.

Calvary is a place where the Word of God is considered vital to our lives. We seek to honor the Holy Spirit, lift up Christ, and exalt the Father. We don't seek to read tradition and standards into the Word of God, but rather, we seek to understand our position in Christ and His desire for our sanctification.

Godly Worship

Calvary realizes the importance of music in our lives. Our worship is focused on the Lord, and we seek to use our voices to sing a new song unto the Lord. 

"Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;" - Ephesians 5:19

Family Friendly

Calvary is also a place in which families can find shelter from the influences of the world, the flesh, and the devil. Your family is welcome to remain together in our services. We also have a children's area for younger children and infants for your convenience.

Christ-like Love

Jesus tells us in Matthew 22:39 to love "thy neighbour's as thyself." Romans 12:9 further tells us to "love...without dissimulation." It is our desire to love like Christ loves.
